Tuesday Good Deeds Week Initiative

We have the chance to provide dinner for two different organizations this night.

·       Option 1 – Make/Buy Food: KP-RCS will be providing dinner for 10-16 people at a local Fisher House, which provides comfort homes where military and veterans families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. Food can either be prepared in your home or purchased from a restaurant or grocery store. Please fill out this Google spreadsheet by Thursday, April 8, to ensure we have enough food provided to bring for dinner. All food should be dropped off to Candace by 12 pm on Tuesday, April 13, to deliver to the Fisher House near Holy Cross Hospital. Fisher House requires that we list all ingredients in each dish we provide.

·       Option 2 – Donate Funds: We will be providing dinner for the weekly “Tasty Tuesday!” meal for 10-15 teens living at the Greentree Shelter of The National Center for Children and Families. These weekly group dinners are an opportunity not only to provide a healthy meal for the teens but also to expose them to culinary traditions from across the world. We’ll be sending them Israeli cuisine. If you are able to donate to the cost of the catered meal, please let Jackie know by Wednesday, April 7^th.
